A doting husband (Akshay Kumar) seeks to make sanitary pads for his wife to protect her from infection by using dirty rags. His conviction sees him struggle against cultural and financial barriers to create his own pad making machine.
Inspired by the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a social activist from Tamil Nadu who introduced low-cost sanitary pads. It is a wonderfully witty portrayal of the changing times in india and how we see women.
