An American journalist travels to India for what she thinks will be an easy magazine feature on Bollywood weddings, only to have the assignment interrupted by a cop, who is convinced there is journalistic espionage behind the innocent magazine article. As the coverage of Bollywood weddings unfolds, so does a colourful mosaic of lost loves, transgender tangles and culture clashes along the heartfelt journey of life, symbolised by the universal ups and downs of a wedding celebration.
We Say: Rajkummar is really quite the versatile actor isn’t he? Well the plot is not groundbreaking ‘ weddings in India’, but the script and tone of the movie are. appears to try and touch on the sensitive subject of transgenders in India, but doesn’t go too far into it that would make you stand up and take notice the forgotten people!
